Up until now I've kept the posting access to 'Beginning Hermeneutics' close to everyone except myself. However, I haven't had time to work on the material and it doesn't look like I will anytime in the near future. The material is important to me so I wanted to make sure that anything posted there would be of the right heart and stick to the point. I was hoping to wait and see who would come to the site and demonstrate that they would stick to the 'vision' for the material.
My hope is to create material that will contribute to growing the Body of Christ into that perfect man of Ephesians. Not only to train workmen that need not be ashamed, to set young Christians on a course of growth that includes personal Bible study and to reach people who limited time and resources but also to give us the opportunites to share our own Bible studies with others who can help us improve our own skills.
With that in mind, I've decided to open up all areas of the site for contribution by all registered users (except the 'Guest' login).
To sum all of this up, the purposes and goals of hermeneutics.org are:
- To fellowship in the Word of God with other generally like-minded believers.
- To reach out to other believers (and some non-believers) to help strengthen their walk with the Lord.
With that in mind I hope you feel comfortable coming here and both sharing and receiving. |
